Nina is pursuing a biomedical engineering degree and a minor in computer science at the University of California at Riverside. She is currently interning at the UCSF Center of Intelligence and Imaging as an Undergraduate Research Fellow for the 2024 summer.

She is also researching at Dr. Girke’s lab at UCR, focusing on bioinformatics and ML applications for analyzing drug combination interactions. Her career interests include machine learning and computer science applications in improving biomedical engineering tools. She is also actively involved in UCR’s photography club, Flicks UCR.
