Nikhil Sonthalia is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Biology as well as Statistics from Brown University with an expected graduation date of May 2026. He is also on the Pre-Medical track and hopes to make an impact in the field of medicine. He has experience as a research assistant in the Accornero Lab, a molecular and cellular biology lab focused on studying post-transcriptional modifications in the mammalian cardiac system, as well as an EMT in the Providence area.

In his free time, Nikhil plays soccer at Brown as well as coaches in his community striving to give children an opportunity to play the game he loves. He has learned many skills from the sport such as teamwork and leadership that have shaped him into the person he is today.
